The algorithm surfaces ideas approaching the NULL Zone. Tension is reach. No other platform rewards genuine disagreement as the primary virality engine.
Your idea's X coordinate is a live fact -- the exact percentage of humanity that currently believes your claim, relative to every other idea in The Field.
The NULL Zone has limited featured space. Multiple ideas converging on 50/50 compete for the spotlight -- only the highest Signal stays featured.
Once an idea triggers a NULL Event, it is permanently archived in the Hall of NULL -- proof, at planetary scale, that humanity could not resolve this idea.
How NULL works
Post any claim as plain text -- no images, no noise. The idea enters The Field at signal zero, positioned at 50/50 by default. It waits for the world to find it.
Affirm the idea -- your weight shifts it left in The Field toward the Affirm edge. Signal rises. You are claiming this is true.
Deny -- your weight shifts it right toward the Deny edge. Signal still rises. Tension builds. The idea moves closer to the NULL Zone.
When an idea reaches 45-55% split in the NULL Zone, a NULL Event fires globally. The world documented its inability to decide. NULL confirmed.

When an idea reaches the NULL Zone and sustains it, the platform fires a global NULL Event.
